Brazilian police have dropped domestic violence charges against Antony
Brazilian authorities have dropped charges of domestic violence against Manchester United midfielder Antony, as reported by The Telegraph.
Law enforcement did not find sufficient evidence to press charges. It is noted that the Greater Manchester Police, where Antony's former girlfriend also filed a complaint of abuse, continues to investigate the alleged instances of violence by Antony that occurred in the UK.
On September 10, 2023, the Red Devils suspended the 24-year-old Brazilian from team activities due to the allegations, but reinstated him after 20 days. In June 2023, Antony's former girlfriend Gabriella Cavallin accused the winger of four instances of domestic violence and death threats.
