Brozović retires from international duty with Croatia

Marcelo Brozović, midfielder for Al Nassr and the Croatian national team, has announced his retirement from international football.

The 31-year-old has represented the national side since 2014. During his time with the national team, Brozović made 99 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists. He was part of the Croatian team that finished as runners-up at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and claimed bronze at the 2022 tournament.

His final competition with the national team was Euro 2024, where he played three matches but did not contribute any goals or assists. The team, managed by Zlatko Dalić, failed to advance to the knockout stages, finishing third in Group B.

Since the summer of last year, Marcelo Brozović has been playing for Al Nassr. His contract with the Saudi club runs until the summer of 2026.
