Bulgarian Weightlifter with World Record Wins Gold at Paris 2024 in 89 kg Category

Bulgarian weightlifter Carlos May Nasar secured a gold medal in the 89 kg category at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Nasar's impressive total lift was 404 kg, setting a new world record in the process.

Colombian athlete Yeison Lopez claimed the silver medal with a total of 390 kg, while Italy's Antonio Pizzolato took home the bronze with a lift of 384 kg.

The Olympic Games in Paris will conclude on August 11.
