Carsley on future in England national team: «This job deserves a world-class coach»

Acting England head coach Lee Carsley answered the question about his future in the national team.

On Sunday, October 13, England defeated Finland 1:3 in the match of the 4th round of the group stage of the Nations League.

«My task is to play six games and I am happy with that. It is a privilege to hold this post.

I really like my job, but I am not satisfied with the previous few days. I am not used to losing in the England national team.

My bosses have made it clear what they want from me. This job deserves a world-class coach who has won trophies and I'm still on my way to doing that», ITV quoted Carsley as saying.

England are second in the Group 2 table with nine points. In the next match Carsley's wards will play away against Greece on November 14.
