Carvajal states he has no plans to retire

Real Madrid and Spain defender Dani Carvajal has spoken about his future.

"My contract runs until next summer, and at the moment, I have no plans to retire. I’ve discussed this with my family and shared with them my desire to enjoy every game and practice session. Over the years, you come to realise how important it is to cherish and relish each moment. My relationship with the club is very transparent. If both sides agree to continue our partnership, I hope to stay here for many years," Carvajal told The Athletic.

The 32-year-old Dani Carvajal is a product of Real Madrid's academy. He has won the Spanish league four times, lifted the national cup twice, and clinched the Champions League title six times with the club. With the national team, Carvajal became a European Championship winner in 2024.
