Chelsea manager Maresca commented on Mudryk's mistakes

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca at a press conference addressed questions regarding the mistakes made by the team's Ukrainian midfielder, Mykhailo Mudryk, following their 2-0 victory over Servette in the Conference League play-off round.

«Misha, this is Mudryk, not only tonight. Since he joined the club, he had some good moments and some bad moments. If he becomes more consistent, he can take one step forward.

We are going to try and help him change. He needs to understand that we will give him the ball in the final third and he has to make the right decision. A lot of mistakes from Misha is about the choice. Hopefully we can help him and he can improve that».

The 23-year-old Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar in January 2023 for €70 million. In 58 appearances for the London club, the Ukrainian has scored seven goals and provided four assists.
