Chelsea Manager Unhappy with Mudryk's Performance in Wolves Clash

Chelsea's head coach, Enzo Maresca, has explained the reasons behind substituting winger Mykhailo Mudryk during the English Premier League (EPL) match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which ended in a resounding 6-2 victory for Chelsea.

The Ukrainian international was replaced at half-time with the scores level at 2-2 by the club's new signing, Pedro Neto.

"Because I was not satisfied. In certain situations, we could have performed better. He worked hard off the ball, which looked quite promising. However, with the ball, I expected more from him. The substitution was simply to give Pedro some minutes on the pitch," Maresca was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

The London side secured their first win in the EPL this season, while Wolves suffered their second consecutive defeat.
