Chelsea signs 19-year-old belgian goalkeeper
Chelsea has signed a contract with 19-year-old Belgian goalkeeper Maik Penders from Genk.
The agreement with the young shot-stopper runs until 2032. Penders will remain on loan at Genk until the end of the current season and is set to join Chelsea in the summer of 2025.
It was previously reported that the transfer fee is approximately €20 million.
Last season, Penders made 25 appearances for Genk across all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in three of those matches.
