De Bruyne's double helped Belgium beat Israel in the Nations League
On Friday, September 6, the Belgian national team defeated the Israeli national team in the first round of Group A of the Nations League.
Kevin De Bruyne scored a double for the winners (21, 53 minutes), and a goal was scored by Juri Thielemans (48). Another goal was scored by Belgian defender Timothy Castagne, who redirected the ball into his own net (36).
In the next match Belgium will play against France, and Israel will host the national team of Italy. Both matches will take place on September 9.
