De Rossi Evaluates Dovbyk's Roma Debut
Roma's head coach, Daniele De Rossi, has assessed Ukrainian newcomer Artem Dovbyk's debut for the team following a goalless draw against Cagliari in the opening round of Serie A.
"The first half was challenging for him because we weren't providing him with enough passes. I believe he played commendably after the break. Artem fought hard, almost scored, and I'm confident he will score many goals," De Rossi told Football Italia.
On August 2, Roma announced the signing of Dovbyk on a five-year contract.
Last season, the forward played for Girona and emerged as La Liga's top scorer, netting 24 goals in the Spanish championship.
