Deschamps comments on Mbappe's absence from France's November camp

France's national team head coach, Didier Deschamps, has assured that the absence of forward Kylian Mbappe from the national team's camp is not due to any issues.

It was previously announced that the 25-year-old striker will not be participating in the matches against Israel and Italy.

"I had discussions with Kylian and made my decision. It’s better this way. Mbappé wanted to come with us, it’s not because of any other problem," journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Deschamps as saying.

As part of the Nations League group stage, France is set to play Israel on 14th November and will face Italy on 17th November.

Didier Deschamps' team currently holds second place in Group A2 of the Nations League, having accumulated nine points.
