Details Revealed on Cancelo’s Potential Earnings with Al-Hilal

Manchester City defender João Cancelo is close to joining Saudi club Al-Hilal.

According to A Bola, the Citizens have reached an agreement with Al-Hilal for the transfer of the 30-year-old right-back for just over 40 million euros. Under a three-year contract with the Saudi club, Cancelo will earn 70 million euros.

The Portuguese player has been with Manchester City since 2019. Last season, he played on loan for Barcelona, where he made 42 appearances, scoring four goals and providing five assists.

Cancelo’s contract with Manchester City is set to run until the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt values the player at 25 million euros.
