Director of Bayern Munich: "Kimmich should become team captain"
Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, has expressed his thoughts on the future of Munich's midfielder, Joshua Kimmich.
"We need Kimmich to become the face of the new project. His gameplay and passion… he is destined for it. He should become the captain of the future Bayern Munich. But first, we need to extend his contract!" quoted Eberl by BR24.
The current contract of the 29-year-old Kimmich with Bayern Munich expires in June 2025. In the current season, he has played four matches for the team without any goal contributions.
