Djokovic: "I Have the Opportunity to Reach a Higher Level"

Twenty-four-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has shared his thoughts on how he feels ahead of the 2024 US Open.

«I would feel more confident if I had played a match at the previous tournaments, but the schedule this year has been such that the Olympics took precedence. I've noticed that the change in time zones affects me much more than usual; it feels like a part of me has remained in Europe with everything that's going on.

I know that when a significant competition begins, I have the opportunity to elevate my game and become a different player. I continue to enjoy the challenge of preparing my body for these tournaments, and physically I feel good—there's nothing particularly unusual about that,» Djokovic told TennisMajors.

The Serbian is the reigning champion of the US Open, having defeated Russian Daniil Medvedev in last year's final with a scoreline of 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.
