Djokovic: «This season is the weakest in terms of results in the last 15 years»
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic labeled the current season as the worst of his career in the last 15 years.
«I had the feeling that I could win the title at Roland Garros, but I got injured there. Then there was the Wimbledon final. The Olympics were my main goal, and that’s where I performed my best.
If I only take gold this year, I'll accept that because I've been waiting for this my whole life. It’s the weakest season in terms of results over the past 15 years, I truly believe that,» Djokovic stated at the post-match press conference.
To remind, Djokovic suffered a shocking defeat in the third round of the US Open, losing to Australian Alexei Popyrin with a score of 4-6, 4-6, 6-2, 4-6.
In 2024, the Serbian has not won any ATP titles.
