Dvalishvili on victory over O'Malley: "It's crazy that I've achieved my dream, I made Sean look ordinary"

UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili has emotionally commented on his victory over American fighter Sean O'Malley.

The Georgian fighter secured a unanimous decision win in the main event of UFC 306, capturing the title.

"It's crazy that I've achieved my dream, the belt. I took it step by step. Sean is good, but today I made him look ordinary. I am the best fighter today, I proved that. Nothing surprised me today. In the gym, I worked with the best, with big guys, with small guys; nothing surprised me. I could have gone 15 rounds at this pace," Dvalishvili said in an octagon interview.

Sean O'Malley suffered the second loss of his career, with his record now standing at 18 wins and one no-contest. Merab Dvalishvili has amassed 18 wins and four losses in his MMA career.
