"Entertainment Has Always Been My Passion": Messi Launches Production Company

Argentine forward Lionel Messi of Inter Miami has launched a production company named 525 Rosario.

The football star's new venture will focus on "family-oriented programs and premium television content." In collaboration with Smuggler Entertainment, the company plans to produce films and commercials for athletes.

"Entertainment has always been my passion, whether on the field or off it. I am deeply inspired by the opportunity to continue the project we started with Smuggler Entertainment and expand it to create content and experiences on a global scale through this new venture," Messi told ESPN.

Smuggler Entertainment previously collaborated with the Argentine star on the documentary series "Messi's World Cup: The Rise of a Legend" and "Messi Meets America."

Tim Pastore, CEO of Smuggler Entertainment, will join forces with Messi's family to co-own the headquarters and offices of 525 Rosario in Miami and Los Angeles.
