"Everyone Showed Their Character": Arteta on Victory over Aston Villa

Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta has commented on the 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in the second round of the Premier League (PL).

"Everyone showed their character, not just Saka. Aston Villa played defensively, as we expected, but we adapted and played bravely. And when it was necessary for individual players to step up, they did. That's why we won," BBC quotes Arteta as saying.

Mikel Arteta's team has earned six points and sits in third place in the Premier League standings, while Aston Villa (3) is in 12th place.
