Fernando Alonso: "I Will Continue Racing in Formula 1 Beyond 2026"

Fernando Alonso, the Spanish driver for Aston Martin, has stated that he is not considering retirement anytime soon.

"I'm not planning on retiring. In 2026, I'll be behind the wheel in Formula 1, and even after 2026, I will continue competing in Formula 1 or another series, but with Aston Martin. Whether it's in WEC or somewhere else. A third title? We'll see. No one knows what the future holds, but our team has good prospects. I understand that all this takes time, which I don't have plenty of, but I'm relaxed and enjoying this adventure," Alonso told F1news.ru.

The 43-year-old Spaniard is a two-time F1 World Champion. This season, Alonso has scored 50 points and currently sits ninth in the overall standings.
