"Few footballers like this." Shakhtar’s CEO compares Mudryk to a Ferrari

Shakhtar Donetsk's General Director, Sergey Palkin, has expressed high praise for Chelsea's Ukrainian winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.

"If you don't know how to drive a Ferrari, it's not for you; a regular car will do. When you buy a Ferrari, you should know how to handle it. That’s my view regarding Mudryk at Chelsea. I'm confident he will prove himself when given the opportunity. He is a player who makes a difference, as evident from his performances for the Ukrainian national team. There are very few footballers like him," Palkin stated to Goal.

Mudryk transferred from Shakhtar to Chelsea in January 2023 for a deal worth €70 million plus €40 million in add-ons. The winger has appeared in 66 matches across all competitions for the London club and scored seven goals.
