Five-Time NBA Champion Criticizes Luka Dončić
Michael Cooper, a five-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, has criticized Slovenian player Luka Dončić of the Dallas Mavericks.
"Luka Dončić records a triple-double in almost every game, but in my view, he’s too slow. If he weren’t a scorer, I would cut him. I give him credit for his scoring, but in my opinion, he’s lazy and doesn't hustle back on defense," Cooper told Lakers Nation.
In the past NBA season, Dončić played 70 games for Dallas. On average, the Slovenian scored 33.9 points per game.
