Former Acting FIFA President Dies at 2024 Olympics

Former acting FIFA president Issa Hayatou has passed away at the age of 77 during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, as reported by AP.

Hayatou died of a heart attack.

The manager was attending the Olympics as an honorary guest.

From 1988 to 2017, the Cameroonian served as the president of the Confederation of African Football.

He acted as the president of FIFA from October 8, 2015, following the suspension of Joseph Blatter and Michel Platini, until the election of Gianni Infantino in 2016.
