Fury's Promoter Acknowledges Usyk as the Best Boxer of His Generation
Frank Warren, the promoter of former WBC champion Tyson Fury, has spoken about the upcoming title rematch between the Briton and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
«Let me be clear: Usyk is the best boxer of his generation worldwide. But if Tyson beats Oleksandr in the rematch, then Tyson will become the best. Their first fight was very close. Now that they know each other, it will be even more exciting,» Warren told Boxing Social.
In May, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision and became the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the 21st century.
The rematch is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on December 21.
