Germany Thrashed Hungary in Nations League, Scoring Five Unanswered Goals

Germany's national team triumphed over Hungary with a dominant 5-0 victory in the first-round match of Nations League Group A3. The encounter took place at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf.

The hosts saw goals from Niclas Füllkrug (27'), Jamal Musiala (58'), Florian Wirtz (66'), Alexander Pavlovic (77'), and Kai Havertz (81', penalty).

As a result of the match, Germany gained three points and now tops Group 3, while Hungary, with no points, has fallen to the bottom of the table.

Germany’s next Nations League match is scheduled for September 10 against the Netherlands, while Hungary will face Bosnia and Herzegovina on the same day.
