Goalkeeper Mamardashvili Joins Liverpool

Liverpool has agreed a deal to sign Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili. This was announced on the club's official website.

"Liverpool has reached an agreement for the transfer of Giorgi Mamardashvili, subject to obtaining a work permit and international clearance. The Valencia goalkeeper is set to join the Reds ahead of the 2025/26 season. The Merseyside club has secured a deal with the 23-year-old player, which will see him remain in Spain with Valencia for the rest of the current campaign," reads the official statement from Liverpool.

Last season, the goalkeeper made 37 appearances for Valencia, keeping 13 clean sheets while conceding 34 goals in the other matches. According to Transfermarkt, Mamardashvili's market value is estimated at €45 million.
