Guardiola Believes Haaland Can Rival Ronaldo and Messi in Scoring Prowess
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has praised forward Erling Haaland's hat-trick in the second round of the Premier League (PL) match against Ipswich Town (4-1).
"His statistics are astounding. In terms of scoring ability, he can compete with Ronaldo and Messi. His stats for his age are incredible. He is incredibly dangerous," Guardiola told ESPN.
After two matches in the new PL season, the 24-year-old Haaland has already scored four goals. With six points, City currently tops the PL table.
