Guardiola Comments on Possible Players' Strike Due to Tight Schedule
Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola has spoken out about the potential players' strike due to the congested fixture schedule.
"Many talk about the players, but if anything is to change, it has to come from them. This business can survive without owners, management, and coaches, but not without footballers. This is becoming a global discussion, and we shall see how it unfolds," journalist Simon Stone quoted Guardiola on social media.
Earlier, Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri suggested that players might go on strike: "I think we are close to it. If you ask any player, they would say the same."
