Guardiola on Champions League match against Sparta: "A few days ago, I knew nothing about this club"

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has shared his thoughts on the upcoming Champions League group stage match against Prague's Sparta.

"The team has shown time and again its ability to quickly move on from both good and bad moments and be ready for the next game. We'll face Sparta in the Champions League, who have the same number of points as us. Just a few days ago, I knew nothing about this club, but after watching them, I was left with a good impression," Guardiola was quoted as saying by the BBC.

The Matchday 3 fixture of the Champions League group stage, Manchester City versus Sparta, is scheduled to take place at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on October 23.
