Hamilton: "Ferrari fans looked at me differently and created a connection"

Seven-time Formula 1 champion and Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton, has expressed that he felt a unique connection with Ferrari fans during the Italian Grand Prix.

"During the driver parade, I noticed Ferrari fans looking at me with different eyes and creating a connection with me for the first time. This is an interesting development. I believe something truly incredible will happen next year," Hamilton said, as quoted by Formula Passion via Sky Sports.

In February, it was announced that Lewis Hamilton would leave Mercedes at the end of the 2024 season and join Ferrari.

The Italian Grand Prix concluded at the Monza circuit on September 1. The race was won by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, with McLaren's Oscar Piastri finishing second and his teammate Lando Norris completing the podium in third. Hamilton finished the race in fifth place.
