Hummels Joins AS Roma

German defender Mats Hummels has officially become a player for AS Roma, as announced on the club's official website.

The player's contract with the Giallorossi extends until 2025, with Hummels set to earn around €2 million per year at the Italian club.

On June 14, Borussia Dortmund announced Hummels' departure following the expiration of his contract. The defender has had two stints with the club, from 2008 to 2016 and then from 2019 to 2024, amassing a total of 508 appearances. During his time with Dortmund, Hummels won the Bundesliga twice, the DFB-Pokal twice, lifted the DFL-Supercup three times, and reached the Champions League final twice.
