Italy edges past Israel with narrow victory in Nations League match

Italy's national team secured a 2-1 victory over Israel in their second-round Group A2 match of the Nations League. The game took place at the Bozsik Arena in Budapest.

For the visitors, Davide Frattesi scored in the 38th minute, followed by Moise Kean in the 62nd minute. The nominal hosts responded with a goal from Mohammad Abu Fani in the 90th minute.

Italy now tops the Group A2 table in the Nations League with six points. Israel, with zero points, currently sits in fourth place.

In the next round, the Azzurri will host Belgium, while Israel will face France. Both matches are scheduled for October 10.
