Joshua and Fury Could Fight in Saudi Arabia

Chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, is looking to organize a bout between former IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua and former WBC, WBA Super, WBO, and IBO titleholder Tyson Fury. This was reported by insider Michael Benson.

"His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh has made it clear that he wants to make Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua next if AJ beats Daniel Dubois on Sept 21st. He said he will make an offer for Fury vs AJ regardless of whether Fury wins or loses the Oleksandr Usyk rematch and would want to make the all-British clash before either man gets a shot at a trilogy fight with Usyk," Benson wrote on social media.

Anthony Joshua is set to fight fellow Brit Daniel Dubois for the IBF world title on September 21 in London. Meanwhile, the rematch between Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh.

In his last fight, Fury lost to Usyk by split decision, relinquishing his WBC title. Throughout his career, the 36-year-old Brit has amassed 34 wins (24 by knockout), one loss, and one draw.

Anthony Joshua has won 28 bouts (25 by knockout) and has suffered three defeats in his professional boxing career.
