Juventus Coach on Chiesa's Future: "Federico Is Not Part of Our Plans"

Juventus head coach Thiago Motta has addressed the situation regarding forward Federico Chiesa.

«Our position on Federico Chiesa hasn't changed. He’s not part of our plans. We've talked. It's a demonstration of the respect I have for everyone. Transparency, clarity, that's the way I communicate with my players», Motta’s words were quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano on social media.

The Juventus manager has previously stated several times that he does not see Chiesa as part of his project. As of now, the player has yet to find a new club.

In the past season, the Italian forward made 35 appearances in Serie A, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.
