Kane Discusses England's Reaction to Euro 2024 Final Defeat
Bayern Munich and England forward Harry Kane shared insight into the national team’s response after their defeat in the Euro 2024 final.
“Every loss is unique in its own way. It's tough. When you’re so close to reaching one of the pinnacles of your international career and it’s taken away like that, it’s really not easy. But ultimately, life goes on; you need to move forward, get back up, and go again. As for me, it’s only made me more motivated, reignited my fire. I want to try and get back there again, or at the World Cup, and achieve a different result this time,” Kane stated in an interview with ESPN.
On 14 July, England lost to Spain 2-1 in the Euro 2024 final.
