Kompany: "The surrounding pressure at Bayern doesn't matter"

Bayern Munich's head coach, Vincent Kompany, addressed the victory over Holstein Kiel (6-1) in the third round of the Bundesliga.

"We do not pay attention to the league table. Today, we achieved an excellent victory and displayed good gameplay. This success is essential for our mentality. From the beginning of the preseason, we had the right mindset. Today, we confirmed that we have a strong squad, and we need to continue in the same spirit.

Regarding pressure, my priority is the players. What happens around the club is irrelevant to me. My task is to work with the team. When we win and play well, I am happy. If not, it bothers me. Otherwise, I sleep well regardless of the surrounding circumstances," quoted Kompany by Bayern & Germany.

With nine points, Bayern Munich leads the German championship table.
