Liverpool to Discuss New Contract with Salah in Coming Months

Liverpool are planning to discuss a new contract with their star forward, Mohamed Salah, in the coming months, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.

The 32-year-old Egyptian recently mentioned that he wants "to enjoy his final year at the club."

“Arne Slot is very happy with him and they want to keep him at the club, so at the moment it all depends on the talks taking place between Mo and Liverpool in the next few months. The situation for Mo is quite clear. He is very happy and would like to stay at the club,” Romano said in the Debrief Podcast.

Mohamed Salah has been playing for Liverpool since 2017. In the current season, the winger has scored three goals and provided three assists in just three matches for the Reds.

Salah's current contract with the Merseyside club is set to expire next summer. Transfermarkt values the player at €55 million.
