Lukaku to sign a three-year contract with Napoli
Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku is close to joining Napoli.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano on social media, there is a verbal agreement between the clubs. The transfer fee will be €45 million, and the 31-year-old striker's contract with the Neapolitan side will be for three years.
Romelu Lukaku played for Chelsea from 2011 to 2013 and returned to the club in 2021 after transferring from Inter Milan for €113 million. Last season, the forward was on loan at Roma, where he scored 21 goals and provided four assists in 47 matches.
