Lunin set to extend contract with Real Madrid

Goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is close to renewing his contract with Real Madrid.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Madrid club has reached an agreement with the 25-year-old Ukrainian to extend his contract until the summer of 2028. The deal is expected to be officially announced soon.

Andriy Lunin joined Real Madrid in 2018. Last season, the goalkeeper played 31 matches for Los Blancos across all competitions, achieving 12 clean sheets and conceding 32 goals, significantly contributing to the team's La Liga and Champions League victories.

The Ukrainian's current contract with the Madrid club is set to expire next summer. Transfermarkt values the player at 25 million euros.
