Malkin has surpassed Iginla to become the 36th highest scorer in NHL history

Russian forward Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins scored a goal and provided two assists in the match against the Montreal Canadiens. According to the NHL press office, this game brought Malkin his 1,303rd career point, moving him to 36th on the all-time scoring list in league history.

He surpassed Jarome Iginla, who accumulated 1,300 points in the NHL.
