Mamardashvili to Join Liverpool and Immediately Go on Loan to Bournemouth
Valencia goalkeeper and Georgia international Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to join Liverpool before being loaned out to Bournemouth.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano on X, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has already agreed on personal terms with the Merseyside club. Officially, he will join Liverpool at the beginning of the 2025/2026 season.
Last season, the goalkeeper played 37 matches for Los Che, keeping 13 clean sheets and conceding 41 goals. At Euro 2024, the Georgian keeper equalled the record for saves in the group stage, stopping 21 shots across three matches.
Mamardashvili's contract with the Spanish club runs until the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt values the goalkeeper at €45 million.
