Manchester United's players, Maignan and Maguire, will be sidelined for several weeks due to injuries

Manchester United has confirmed that midfielder Kobby Mainu and defender Harry Maguire will be side-lined for several weeks due to injuries.

The 31-year-old defender was injured towards the end of the first half of the match against Aston Villa (0:0) in the seventh round of the English Premier League (EPL).

Mainu has been experiencing problems with the back of his thigh.

The club's website also notes that Noussair Mazraoui, Alejandro Garnacho and Amar have returned to training after missing their national team's matches during the international break.

After seven rounds of the English championship, Manchester United, with 8 points, is currently in 14th place in the league table.
