Maresca on draw with Crystal Palace: "Slightly ashamed of the result"
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca shared his thoughts on the team's 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace in the third round of the English Premier League (EPL).
"We deserved to win. We created numerous chances, and our performance was outstanding. We didn't secure the three points, but if we continue playing like this, I believe victories will come. I'm slightly ashamed of the result, but not of our play. We are on the right track," Maresca said in an interview with Sky Sports.
Following the match, Chelsea have accrued four points and are positioned 11th in the league table. In the next round, the Blues will face Bournemouth on September 14th.
