Maresca wants Chelsea to sign a few more players

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has stated that the London club's squad needs strengthening.

Currently, the Blues' roster includes 43 players, and this summer, Chelsea has already signed eight new players.

«The club's management is aware of my views on transfers if they are to be made. I hope that we can bring in a few more players before the window closes», — Maresca told ESPN.

The 44-year-old coach took on the role of Chelsea's head manager this summer. Last season, Enzo Maresca led Leicester City, guiding them back to the English Premier League (EPL). The Italian's contract with Chelsea runs until 30 June 2029.
