Marotta stated that he could have signed a 15-year-old Haaland for Juventus

Former Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta revealed that he could have signed Erling Haaland for the Turin club.

The current president of Inter Milan worked at Juventus from 2010 to 2018.

"Were we close to signing Haaland? Yes, we were offered him while he was playing in Norway. At the age of 15, he attended a match between Juventus and Inter in Turin, but at that time, bureaucratic issues arose," Marotta explained in an interview with Amazon Prime Video.

The Manchester City forward played for Brøne and Molde in Norway from 2016 to 2018.
