Maximilian Beier joins Borussia Dortmund

Hoffenheim forward Maximilian Beier has joined Borussia Dortmund, as announced by the club's press service.

The 21-year-old striker has signed a five-year contract. According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee is reported to be €28.5 million.

Maximilian Beier is set to compete in the 2024 European Championship and has made appearances in two matches for the German national team. In the previous season, he scored 16 goals in 33 Bundesliga matches.
