Mbappé on his goal against Atalanta: «Bellingham delivered a fantastic pass»

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has spoken about his first goal for the club, highlighting the contribution of team midfielder Jude Bellingham. 

In a recent match, the «Los Blancos» secured a 2-0 victory over Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup. Mbappé scored the second goal of the encounter, marking his debut for Real Madrid.

«The most important thing for a striker inside the box is movement: always keep moving, and never stop because depending on what the player does, everything can change – go right, go left!

You always have to keep paying attention and that’s what Jude Bellingham did. He first ran left, then he came back on his right so my run changed, I faked a run and then I went for it, always moving. Then he delivered a superb ball and I managed to strike it well to score straight after. So..... that's top!» Mbappé was quoted as saying by UEFA's press service. 

On June 3, Real Madrid announced the signing of Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer. The French forward has joined the Madrid outfit on a contract that runs until the summer of 2029. 

This victory marked a record sixth UEFA Super Cup title for Real Madrid.
