Modrić has been included in Croatia's squad for the Nations League matches

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modrić has been named in the Croatia squad for the upcoming Nations League matches.

A total of 24 players will join the national team for the September outings. Croatia is set to face Portugal and Poland in the Nations League on September 5 and 8 respectively.

The expanded squad consists of:

Goalkeepers: Dominik Livaković, Dominik Kotarski, Nediljko Labrović;

Defenders: Josko Gvardiol, Duje Ćaleta-Car, Borna Sosa, Josip Stanišić, Josip Šutalo, Marin Pongračić, Martin Erlić;

Midfielders: Luka Modrić, Mateo Kovačić, Mario Pašalić, Lovro Majer, Luka Ivanusec, Luka Sucic, Kristijan Jakic, Martin Baturina, Petar Sucic;

Forwards: Ivan Perišić, Andrej Kramarić, Bruno Petković, Ante Budimir, Igor Matanović.

Additionally, the following players have received preliminary invitations: Borna Barišić, Marco Pjaca, Ivica Ivušić, Marko Pašalić, Nikola Moro.
