Notably, Russian midfielder Aleksandr Golovin made his first appearance since April after recovering from an injury. The 28-year-old came on in the 82nd minute, replacing Krépin Diatta.
Both Lens and Monaco now have seven points, placing them third and fourth respectively in the league table.
