Muhammad: «Rakhmonov is the perfect opponent for me»
36-year-old American UFC fighter Belal Muhammad has named 29-year-old Kazakhstani Shavkat Rakhmonov as the ideal opponent for him.
«Shavkat Rakhmonov is the perfect opponent for me. Shavkat defeated Stephen Thompson. Though, if I recall correctly, Thompson had already been beaten by four other guys in a row before that.
If I had to choose an opponent, I think the options are Shavkat and Kamaru Usman», — said Muhammad in an interview with The Fighter and The Kid.
Muhammad (24-3) holds the UFC welterweight championship belt.
Ranked third, Rakhmonov has an unblemished record with 18 victories in 18 fights.
