Nadal Withdraws from 2024 Laver Cup

Former world number one Rafael Nadal has decided to withdraw from the 2024 Laver Cup.

"I am very disappointed that I will not be able to participate in the Laver Cup next week. This is a team competition, and supporting the team in the best possible way is my priority. There are other players who can help the team win. I have so many wonderful and emotional memories from this tournament. I was really looking forward to playing with the team and with Bjorn Borg, who is having his last tournament as captain. I wish Team Europe all the best and will be supporting them from afar," Nadal said, as quoted by the tournament's press service.

The Laver Cup will take place from September 20 to 22 in Berlin.
